Being a company that thrives on the latest and greatest technology, we like to visit tech conferences to keep our knowledge up-to-date.
Therefore, the other week, three of us visited DevOpsCon in Berlin, Germany, a 4-day meet up with lots of glimpses at topics such as innovative infrastructure and modern lean business culture through hands-on workshops, sessions and keynotes.
Each day started with a keynote. After those we more or less split up through the day, each having picked our own sessions. Like others, this conference hosts multiple simultaneous sessions.
The conference started with the question below:
A nice introduction to a multitude of sessions about security, Continuous Delivery Architecture, ‘serverless computing‘ and even CDD (Conference Driven Development).
The session of Gregory S Bedsoe contained the answer to the ultimate question of DevOps:
What is DevOps?
DevOps is the realignment of IT around business value, by building a culture of communication and collaboration between all IT teams, including, but not limited to, development and operations teams.
In addition to the sessions, a lot of exhibitors were present, with booths in the main hall to present their latest ideas.
Overall, we’ve had a great time.
Refreshed and resharpened to bring new ideas and energy to our customers!
Already looking forward to DevOpsCon 2019!
